Directed by Rob Melrose, the production will continue through March 16 in the Dowling Studio.
In the roles of Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis, respectively, will be Robert Dorfman and Peter Christian Hansen. Rounding out the cast is actor and author Tom Hegg, who provides the voice of the unseen BBC announcer.
In Freud’s Last Session, according to the Guthrie, "Sigmund Freud and C. S. Lewis debate the existence of God in Freud’s London office while air-raid sirens signal the beginning of World War II.… The conversation touches on a myriad of topics including God, morality, conscience, sex and the meaning of life."
The artistic team includes set designer Michael Locher, costume designer Amy Schmidt, lighting designer Frank Butler, sound designer Reid Rejsa, voice and dialect coach Lucinda Holshue, dramaturg Jo Holcomb and stage manager Michele Hossle.
