News Robert Dubac Will Search for The Truth and What Women Want at Urban Stages Urban Stages will present the New York premiere of two monologues written by and starring Robert Dubac, The Book of Moron and The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron? The performances will run in repertory beginning March 19.

In The Book of Moron Dubac journeys down the rabbit hole in search of the truth, having lost sign of who he is or what he believes in. It's described as "a head trip - on a banana peal."

In The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron? Dubac embarks on a uniquely different quest, that of figuring out what women want.

Robert Dubac is an actor, comedian and writer, having recently penned "Sex, Politics...and Other Headaches." His shows The Book of Moron and The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron? have been presented around the country and received acclaim.

Frances Hill, Urban Stages' artistic director has said in a press statement that the plays are the "rare combination of theater and comedy that is laugh out loud funny, provocative and thoughtful, all at once. Robert Dubac belongs to that unique breed of monologists, bringing to mind the best of Lily Tomlin and Mark Twain."
