News Robert Emmet Lunney's For Nina, Featuring Larry Pine, Laila Robins and More, Has Industry Reading Nov. 16 The Directors Company presents a reading of For Nina, a new play by Robert Emmet Lunney, Nov. 16 at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios.

The invitation-only reading, directed by Michael Parva, begins at 3 PM and features Larry Pine (The Royal Family, Bus Stop), Laila Robins (Heartbreak House), Sean Cullen (South Pacific), Louisa Krause, Peter Van Wagner and Liz Wisan (Other Desert Cities). Here's how the play is described: "Nina Dalton, a forty-something stage-actress/movie-star is performing in a new play written by her celebrated novelist husband Brian Bartov. Brian, in his early seventies, fights a dual battle against early stage Alzheimer's disease and the temptation to rewrite Nina's part for a younger woman in the film version of his play. Their world is shaken when Gar Jackson, her first love, shows up after thirty years with a play of staggering beauty and epic proportions, written especially for Nina."

The Directors Company is located at 311 West 43rd Street. For more information, visit www.directorscompany.org.
