CERRITOS, CA -- The Hollywood husband-and-wife team of Robert Wagner and Jill St. John will bring their touring version of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts for one night only, Sept. 17 at 8 PM.
Love Letters is part of the Center's new Drama Series, which also features the performances of Hal Holbrook in Mark Twain Tonight (Nov. 5); Claire Bloom in Enter the Actress (Jan. 14, 1999); John Davidson in Bully: The Adventures of Teddy Roosevelt (March 11, 1999); and The Acting Company's production of Moliere's Tartuffe.
Patrons purchasing the Drama Series receive a 15 percent discount off the original ticket price of each event.
Wagner is making his second tour with Love Letters, having previously co-starred with his TV wife Stefanie Powers.
Love Letters premiered in 1989 with Kathleen Turner and John Rubinstein and has since become a theatre phenomenon, performed nationally and internationally by such actors as Christopher Walken and Diane Ladd, Jayne Meadows and Steve Allen, Marsha Mason and Neil Simon, among many others.
