News   Robin De Levita, Dutch Showman and Former Endemol Man, to Bring Carmen—The Musical to Broadway

Robin De Levita, a Dutch theatrical producer who worked with former Dodgers partner Joop van den Ende for 25 years, has opened a New York producing office, LE Productions, Variety reported.

The move follows De Levita's creation of Robin De Levita Productions, a New York-Amsterdam entity which opened shop on April 1. De Levita has founded LE Productions with Dutch composer John Ewbank, and hopes to bring Ewbank's original musicals to New York. These include Carmen—The Musical, which is expected to hit Gotham first, and Alice. Production partners for Carmen will be announced in June, Variety reported.

Among the shows De Levita produced on Broadway while affiliated with van den Ende are Hamlet, Titanic, 1776, Footloose, Urinetown, Dracula and Good Vibrations.
