PlayBlog Rocca Pits Our Town vs. Twitter Generation Mo Rocca, a stage veteran (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), reported on "The Lasting Impact of Our Town" in a segment for CBS News.

David Cromer, director of the current intimate revival Off-Broadway at the Barrow Street Theatre, talked to Rocca about his production and the Thorton Wilder classic. (His staging was first seen at Chicago's Hypocrites Theater Company.)

Video of the segment (embedded below) also features the most recent Broadway revival of the work starring the late Paul Newman and Maggie Lacey (currently appearing in another American-based drama The Orphans' Home Cycle Off-Broadway.)

Rocca exposed the 1938 Pulitzer Prize winner to the "high-speed Twitter generation" when he accompanied four high school students to a matinee and chatted with the teens after.
