The episode, which is titled “Twenty-Five Acts,” will air in the fall on a date to be announced.
The story, according to NBC, centers "on the author of a best-selling erotic novel (Chlumsky) who accuses a high-profile talk show host (Bart) of a brutal rape. The SVU detectives face an uphill battle when they find that her account of the rape is exactly like the chapters in her book, and along with the DA’s office (Esparza), they struggle to keep the case from turning into a media circus."
"Law & Order: SVU" will make its season premiere in a two-hour episode Sept. 26 at 9 PM ET.
