Ron Bohmer, Broadway's most recent hero in The Scarlet Pimpernel, and an alum of touring stagings of Sunset Boulevard, Aspects of Love, Les Miserables and more, goes it alone Feb. 4-5 for two 11 PM cabaret concerts in New York City. 2,000 Songs...Or Less, at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in the West Bank Cafe, will see the debut of new songs and old favorites, and the shows will be recorded for a live album. The band includes J.J. McGeean (guitar), Kenny Levinsky (keyboards), Tony DeAugustine (percussion) and Jeff Ganz (bass).
There is a waiting list for Feb. 4, but seats may open up. Tickets are still available for Feb. 5. The West Bank Cafe is at 407 W. 42nd St. at Ninth Avenue.
