Bohmer will be joined by Wally Dunn as Alexander Throttlebottom, Sarah Knowlton as Diana Devereaux, Garrett Long as Mary Turner, Nick Corely as Francis X. Gilhooley, Adam Grupper as Louis Lippman, JoAnn M. Hunter as Emily Benson, Hal Blankenship as Senator Lyons and Richard Poe as Matthew Arnold Fulton.

The company comprises Laurena Barros, Leanne Bowman, Kevin Burrows, Don Daniels, Jeremy Davis, Kellie Drinkhahn, Kevin Hale, Stacey Harris, Joshua Phillip Huff, Julia Krohn, Matthew La Banca, Lauren Marshall, Garrett Miller, Nina Ragaz, Greg Roderick, David Sattler, Lindsay Marie Thomas and Jessica Wright.

  Directed by Tina Landau with choreography by Joey Pizzi and music direction by Tom Helm, Of Thee I Sing will play the Paper Mill Sept. 8-Oct. 17. The official press opening is scheduled for Sept. 12.

Of Thee I Sing boasts a score by George and Ira Gershwin and a book by George S. Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind. This satirical look at American politics was the first musical ever to win the Pulitzer Prize.

Ron Bohmer starred on Broadway in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Les Misérables and Fiddler on the Roof. He portrayed Joe Gillis in the first national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard; the title role in Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera in Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C.; and Alex in the Canadian company and U.S. national tour of another Lloyd Webber work, Aspects of Love. Television audiences have seen the singer-actor on "As the World Turns" and "Ryan's Hope," and his solo recordings include "Ron Bohmer — everyman" and "Ron Bohmer: Another Life." Of Thee I Sing marks Bohmer's second engagement at the Paper Mill; he appeared in the New Jersey theatre's 1989 production of Shenandoah.
