So you're in California and can get to see Off-Broadway's Ten Naked Men? Three Guys Naked From The Waist Down, opens Oct. 30 at the Tamarind Theatre in Hollywood. The show begins previews Oct. 24 for a run through Dec. 21. Okay, so they're not exactly the same. Ten Naked Men is actually about ten naked men, whereas 3 Guys is a musical about a trio of wildly different stand-up comedians. Played by Joshua Campbell, Jeff Trachta (Grease!) and Kevin Spirtas, the three join together as a unit to find meteoric success, disillusionment and, ultimately, self discovery.

With music by Michael Rupert, book and lyrics by Jerry Colker, 3 Guys originally played for 160 Off-Broadway performances in 1984 85.

Directing 3 Guys Naked From The Waist Down is Ron Palillo, who starred as Mozart in Delaware Theatre Company's Amadeus but is best known for playing Arnold Horshack on TV's "Welcome Back Kotter."

Lynn Brilhante will choreograph 3 Guys' three guys, with Darryl W. Archibald serving as musical director. Designing the show are Peter Edwards (lighting), Roxanne Dungereaux (costumes) and the Dovetale Scenic organization (set).

For tickets ($20) and information on 3 Guys Naked From The Waist Down at the Tamarind Theatre on Franklin Ave. In Hollywood, call (213) 660-8587.
