News Roscioli, Doyle, Lenk, Torres and More Sing Thompson Tunes Feb. 22 An evening celebrating the compositions of songwriter Katie Thompson will be presented Feb. 22 at Birdland.

The 7 PM concert at the famed jazz club is scheduled to feature the talents of Dee Roscioli (Wicked), Matt Doyle (Spring Awakening), Tom Lenk (Rock of Ages), Marriand Torres (Giant), Anne Fraser Thomas (The Grinch) and Erik Sisco (Sing What I Wanna Sing). Expect songs from Thompson's musical R.R.R.E.D and more.

As an actress, Thompson has been seen in Giant, The Ark and The Forgotten Carols. As a songwriter, Thompson was nominated for a Pearl Award and an Indie Award for "I Can Be Bought" and "It Doesn't Hurt." Her debut CD is titled "What I've Done Right."
