News Ross Noble Opens at London's Vaudeville in Sonic Waffle

One of the hits of the 2002 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Ross Noble arrives in the West End on Sept. 9 with a one-night preview of his show, Sonic Waffle, which then opens on Sept. 10.

Noble's appearance at the Vaudeville precedes that of dance show Stomp, and will, like Stomp, attract a younger than usual audience for a West End show.

In recent years Noble has earned an international reputation with his highly original brand of comedy, an art form he took to in his mid-teens (he's now in his mid twenties) after initially planning a career in the circus.

In 2001 he undertook a national tour of the United Kingdom before moving to the Australia, where he won both the Barry Award and the Age Critics Award for the most outstanding show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Ross Noble's Sonic Waffle runs at the Vaudeville until Sept. 21.
