Ian Morgan directs the world premiere from rUDE mECHANICALS Theater Company that began previews Jan. 14 and will run through Jan. 31. Tina Benko, who recently understudied Tovah Feldshuh in Irena's Vow, appears alongside Matthew Lawler (The Flu Season, Valparaiso) in the two-hander.

According to press notes, "Doodle Ranch Studios is desperate – 'Coffee Beanies' is over-budget and behind schedule. Two animators snowed-in over the holidays while trying to save the picture risk their hearts and lose their minds in a creative conflict that threatens Childhood as we know it. Rough Sketch is a deranged comedy about the cutthroat world of G-rated entertainment."

Rough Sketch has costume design by Angela R. Harner, set design by Peter R. Feuchtwanger, lighting design by Amith A. Chandrashaker and sound-original music by Matt Sherwin.
