PlayBlog Roundabout Offers Sound Clips From Sondheim on Sondheim The Roundabout Theatre Company is teasing musical theatre fanatics with four exclusive sound clips from the new musical revue Sondheim on Sondheim.

The new musical biography, conceived and directed by James Lapine, is now playing at Broadway's Studio 54. The show features video clips of composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim talking about his life and work, with a company of performers (including Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Tom Wopat, Norm Lewis and more) singing his hits and lesser-known numbers.

The sound clips (at roundaboutheatre.org) include Cook and Wopat singing "You Could Drive a Person Crazy," Williams singing "Children Will Listen," Cook singing "Loving You" and Williams singing "Good Thing Going." The versions are incomplete, but give a taste of things to come.
