News   Royce's Passion of Claire Wins 2002 Christopher Brian Wolk Award Cheryl Royce's The Passion of Claire has won the 2002 Christopher Brian Wolk Award for excellence in playwrighting. This drama from writer-performer Royce (My Son Susie) is based on the true story of a catholic nun who was raped while she was praying alone in her church and traces the after-effects the act has on the community around the nun.

There will be a staged reading of The Passion of Claire Sept. 30 at 7:30 at the Abingdon Theater along with the Wolk Award ceremony.
