Part of Abingdon's First Reading series, the 7 PM performance will feature the talents of Seth Rudetsky, Kevyn Morrow, Anne L. Nathan, Edward O'Blenis and Sarah Peterson. Damon Arrington directs. The Lost Art of Conversation, according to press notes, "focuses on six disparate characters and the ways in which their lives intersect over a ten-year period. The characters include straight, gay and lesbian interracial couples exploring how both primary and secondary relationships have altered their lives." The play was a finalist at The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's Playwrights' Conference and for the Abingdon's Christopher Wolk Playwriting Prize.
The Dorothy Strelsin Theatre is located at 312 West 36th Street, 1st floor. Admission is free. No reservations necessary, although seating is limited on a first come, first served basis.
