Jen Wineman directs a cast that features Babak Gharaei-Tafti, Zach Appelman, Tomas Andren, Trai Byers, Alexandra Henrikson, Andrew Kelsey, Aja Naomi King, Irene Sofia Lucio, Brenna Palughi, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Rachel Spencer. According to press notes, "After living 200 years as a handsome English nobleman, Orlando falls asleep and awakens—as a woman. In a dream or in reality, Orlando must now continue on in a body she does not recognize, but perhaps always sensed was her own. Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Virginia Woolf's semi-autobiographical novel examines time's relentless drive forward and our instinct to fill each moment of life with poetry, imagination, passion, and eroticism."

Orlando has set design by Po-Lin Li, costume design by Aaron Mastin, lighting design by Laura Eckelman, sound design by Chad Raines and dramaturgy by Jorge J. Rodriguez.

Sarah Ruhl made her Broadway playwrighting debut this season with In the Next Room or the vibrator play. She is the author of the plays Eurydice, The Clean House, Passion Play and Dead Man's Cell Phone. She adapted Chekhov's Three Sisters for a new production at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, under the direction of Tony winner John Doyle (Sweeney Todd, Company, A Catered Affair).
