News   Rumplestiltskin Opens Fall Children's Theatre Season in L.A. Rumplestiltskin, the classic fairy tale about a shy girl's ability to turn straw into gold, gets a new spin in the Falcon Theatre's production written by Lori Marshall and directed by Kathleen Marshall (not to be confused with the New York-based director and choreographer). The opening show in the Falcon's fall children's theatre season, it will run every Saturday and Sunday afternoon through Oct. 29.

Nicholle Tom, best known for her six seasons as Maggie Sheffield on the CBS hit comedy series, "The Nanny," heads the cast. Also in the cast are Renee Albert, Steve Totland, Todd Lowe and Rob Zylowski as Rumplestiltskin.

Lori Marshall wrote the Falcon's adaptations of Hansel and Gretel and Rapunzel. Kathleen Marshall oversaw the design and construction of the Falcon Theatre in 1997. She just finished a six-month run in the critically acclaimed Last Lists of My Mad Mother.
