The general rush policy has been announced for the second Broadway staging of An Act of God, which stars Emmy winner and Tony nominee Sean Hayes, who was also seen in the revival of Promises, Promises.

A limited number of $42 general rush tickets will be available at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street) when the box office opens for that day’s performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

Billed as “written by God” and “transcribed” by 13-time Emmy Award winner David Javerbaum, the production is directed by Tony winner Joe Mantello, who also staged the comedy's 2015 initial run, which starred Emmy winner Jim Parsons.

The current production also features David Josefsberg as Michael and James Gleason as Gabriel. Previews began May 28 prior to an official opening June 6 for a 14-week limited engagement.

“The King of the Universe is back to tackle His greatest challenge yet: a second summer in New York,” according to press notes. “God takes the form of Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes in An Act of God, a 90-minute comedy where the Almighty and His devoted Angels answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation. He’s returned to set the record straight to a whole new crop of believers … and He’s not holding back!”
