News Ryan Gosling Joins SNL For The Wiz Live! "Deleted Scene" The Dec. 5 broadcast of "Saturday Night Live" included a "deleted scene" from The Wiz Live! featuring Ryan Gosling impersonating Ray Bolger's Scarecrow from the 1939 "Wizard of Oz" film.

The skit was a parody of the Dec. 3 NBC television event, The Wiz Live!, which brought to life the Tony-winning Broadway musical The Wiz with a cast that featured Stephanie Mills, Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, David Alan Grier, Uzo Aduba, Amber Riley, Elijah Kelley, Ne-Yo, Common and newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy.
