Wingert began her career with the Guthrie in 1985 and recently appeared on Broadway in the revival of La Bete. She is cast as Martha Brewster. Nielsen, a veteran of Christopher Durang works and last on Broadway in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, plays her sister, Abby.
The cast also includes Michael Booth (Officer Klein), Bob Davis (Teddy Brewster), Tyson Forbes (Jonathan Brewster), Nathaniel Fuller (Reverend Dr. Harper / Mr. Witherspoon), Jonas Goslow (Mortimer Brewster), Terry Hempleman (Officer O’Hara), Hugh Kennedy (Officer Brophy), Kathryn Lawrey (Elaine Harper), Kris L. Nelson (Dr. Einstein) and Peter Thomson (Mr. Gibbs/Lieutenant Rooney).
According to the Guthrie, "Spinster sisters Abby and Martha Brewster are devoted to charity and family. But they have taken on another project as well — befriending lonely older gentlemen and then poisoning them with arsenic-laced elderberry wine."

The Guthrie is located at 818 South 2nd Street (at Chicago Avenue) in downtown Minneapolis. To purchase tickets call (612) 377-2224 or visit GuthrieTheater.
