Sam Harris, star of cabaret and stage, will play two shows, at 7 and 9:30 PM, at Joe's Pub on Dec. 23. He will sing selections from his recently released Christmas album. Harris, who got his career start on "Star Search," is best known to New York theatregoers for his turn as the slimy hustler Jojo in the Cy Coleman musical The Life. Since then he has been working on an Al Jolson musical long promised for Broadway, while hitting the cabaret circuit.
Joe's Pub is located off the Public Theatre in downtown Manhattan. This past year, it has been the home of such artists as David Yazbek, William Finn, Sandra Bernhard and Faith Prince.
