Newlyweds and former "American Idol" contestants DeGarmo and Young met in the 2009 Broadway revival of Hair. The CD is available for pre-order by clicking here.

"Samson and Delilah, A Love Story," a pop-rock concept album, consists of songs from the new musical Samson & Delilah, featuring music and lyrics by Ron Yatter. Young and DeGarmo perform the title roles.

According to press notes, "The songs are a unique combination of classic legit theatre and pop/rock, creating a new musical sound that tells the epic, tragic love story of the biblical couple from two different worlds. Delilah, the beautiful young Philistine, falls in love with the mighty Samson, but when overcome by misguided jealousy, she betrays the man she loves."

"We are thrilled to add Ace and Diana to the Broadway Records family," said Van Dean, co-founder of Broadway Records, in an earlier statement. "Their credits span both theater and pop music and their own love story make them the perfect portrayers of the album’s emotional musical journey."

DeGarmo, who became the first "Idol" alum to star on Broadway, has been seen in 9 to 5, Brooklyn: The Musical, Hairspray and Off-Broadway's The Toxic Avenger. Young has also been seen on Broadway in Grease.
