SAN DIEGO -- San Diego Actors Theatre, in cooperation with L'Auberge Del Mar Resort & Spa, will celebrate both Christmas and Chanukah on Dec. 12 at 11 AM with four short plays for children, 12 Days of Christmas, A Visit From St. Nicholas, Festival of Lights (The Story of Hannukkah [sic] and The Grinch Meets Scrooge, original script by Patricia Elmore Costa.
The spring of 1999 will mark the sixth anniversary of the family entertainment program created by SDAT's artistic director Costa. The company puts on monthly theatrical productions and poetry readings at L'Auberge, which is located at 1540 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar. The cost is $4 per person, with an annual family membership available.
The SDAT also runs acting workshops for kids 4-9 on the fourth Saturday of every month from 12-l:30 PM (Dec. '98 excepted). The cost is $10 per child.
