SAN DIEGO -- A 5-acre Tuscan Villa in Rancho Santa Fe will be the site of San Diego Repertory Theatre's 5th annual "Party With a Point of View," which takes place on Sun. June 7 from 2-6 PM. The public is invited to attend. Tickets are $75 each or $750 for a table of ten.

The 21,000-square foot Vita Eterna, featured on the front cover of the 1998 edition of San Diego county Dream Homes Magazine, rests within a 5-acre compound. Its beautifully crafted wrought-iron gates, stately entrance urns and tree-lined rock drive are reminiscent of the ancestral family manors and village compounds in Tuscany.

"Party" is the San Diego Rep's annual fund-raiser and it will feature both a live and silent auction with such items as a trip to Las Vegas, weekend getaways, golf packages, jewelry, art and theatre tickets. The grand prize is a TWA trip to Rome.

San Diego County Supervisor Pam Slater will serve as honorary chair, along with event chair and SDR trustee Laura Roppe.

Attendees will also be treated to a special guided tour of both the grounds and the houses of Vita Eterna. The menu will include wine, hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Entertainment will be provided by the jazz band Ruby & The Red Hots, along with a roaming string quartet. Call (619) 231-3586 ext. 630.
