The dependably outrageous and outspoken artist will perform at the intimate venue located within the Public Theater Dec. 29 and 30 at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM, Dec. 31 at 9 PM and 11 PM and Jan. 1, 2011, at 7 PM and 9 PM.

Bernhard, according to the Joe's Pub website, "is priming her hysterical insight, outspoken views and outrageous mouth to ring in the New Year. Sandra's brilliant unity of hilarious diatribes on the state of modern culture and classic rock attitude burns smart. Sandra's show is fresh, crazy and real. She inspires and invigorates."

Sandra Bernhard appeared on Broadway in her 1998 one-woman hit I'm Still Here . . . Damn It! after playing five months at Off-Broadway's Westbeth Theatre. In 2006 she starred in Everything Bad & Beautiful at Off-Broadway's Daryl Roth Theatre. On screen she has been seen in "The King of Comedy," "Inside Monkey Zetterland," "Hudson Hawk," "Dinner Rush," "Roseanne," "Ally McBeal," "Chicago Hope" and "Will & Grace." She hosted her own talk show, "The Sandra Bernhard Experience," and has been seen in Showtime's "The L Word." Her books are entitled "Confessions of a Pretty Lady," "Love, Love, and Love" and "May I Kiss You on the Lips, Miss Sandra?"
