Who charms the husks right off of the corn? Sandy Duncan, of course.

The Jennerstown, PA, theatre company will present the Tennessee Williams classic Sept. 15-27. Guy Stroman, who directed Duncan last month in Casa Manana Theatre's staging of Driving Miss Daisy, will direct. The Mountain Playhouse 70th anniversary season includes I'll Never Be Hungry Again (June 2-14), Honus & Me (June 16-28), Over the Tavern (June 30-July 12), The Pajama Game (July 14-Aug. 2), Lend Me a Tenor (Aug. 4-16), Bubba's Revenge (Aug. 18-30), The Glass Menagerie (Sept. 15-27) and Late Nite Catechism 2 (Sept. 30-Oct. 11).

Sandy Duncan received Tony Award nominations for her performances in Canterbury Tales, The Boy Friend and Peter Pan. Her other Broadway credits include Love Is a Time of Day, My One and Only and Chicago. Also a star of television and film, Duncan was nominated for Emmy Awards for her performances in "Funny Face" and "Roots."
