Santa Monica Playhouse will offer a special New Year's Eve event for three performances only, Thurs. Dec. 30 and two shows Fri., Dec. 31, 1999. 2000 Years of Playhouse! consists of songs, dances, comedy and other delights from the best and most popular Playhouse productions in past years, as well as a few preview tidbits of future shows. Featuring such company members as Chris DeCarlo, Evelyn Rudie, John Waroff and Cheryl Jennings, with cameo appearances by a host of guests artists from across the country, such as Aaron Burns, Serena DolInsky and Graham Silbert, the evening will also include complimentary buffet dinner, champagne, hats, noisemakers, favors and special surprises.Showtimes are Dec. 30 at 7.30 PM; Dec. 31 at 6.30 PM and 9.30 PM. Tickets are $25 for Thursday night, $35 Friday at 6.30 PM and $45 Friday at 9.30 PM. Discounts are available for students, teachers, senior citizens, the military and groups of 16 or more.
