Santino Fontana, who earned a Tony Award nomination for his performance as Prince Topher in the 2013 Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella and co-stars in the CW series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, will add New York’s Birdland jazz club to his resume with a solo concert October 9.

The 7 PM cabaret will showcase the singing actor who, since his Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of Sunday in the Park with George, has earned Obie, Lortel, Drama Desk, and Clarence Derwent Awards for his stage work, including Act One, The Fantasticks, Sons of the Prophet, and the Encores! staging of 1776. Fontana also supplied the voice of the villainous Prince Hans in the animated Disney film musical Frozen.

Birdland is located 315 West 44 Street in Manhattan. Tickets, which cost $45–$85 plus a $10 food/drink minimum, can be ordered here.

Among other theatre-related shows planned at Birdland: Melissa Manchester's The Fellas CD release celebration (September 11) and Jessica Molaskey with the John Pizzarelli Trio in Portraits of Joni (September 18).

Fontana has been a special guest performer on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises. Cabins are available for Broadway on the Danube River with Michael Feinstein for November 3-13, 2017, also featuring Rachel Bay Jones, Julia Murney, Christopher Fitzgerald, Marc Kudisch, Christopher Sieber, Brandon Uranowitz, and Seth Rudetsky, as well as other exciting talent to be announced.

Tickets are also now on sale for Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas July 2018 cruise to Iceland, accompanied by Judy Kuhn, Christine Ebersole, Rob McClure, Jarrod Spector, Carmen Cusack, and Sierra Boggess. Visit PlaybillTravel.com for booking and information.
