News Sarah Jessica Parker Says She’d Love to Do Another Musical The TV star confesses she’d be happy to return to her roots.

Emmy-winning actress Sarah Jessica Parker, best known as Carrie in the HBO hit Sex and the City, appeared on the October 6 broadcast of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

Parker, who got her start in the theatre, answered a caller wanting to know if she’d come back to Broadway in a musical. “Sure, if someone had the chutzpah to ask me to do it,” said Parker. “I would love to do another musical, but I would like to do a new musical. Something that I got to help sort out.”

Parker made her Broadway debut in The Innocents in 1976 before replacing Andrea McArdle in the title role of the original Broadway production of Annie. She came back to Broadway as Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress in 1996 before the small screen whisked her away.

Parker currently stars in the new HBO series Divorce.
