Sweet Chaos Theater Project will present an evening of world-premiere short play readings by award-winning playwrights, with proceeds from the event helping fund home libraries for families living in Broadway Community Housing in Harlem. Included in the line-up are Sarah Ruhl (In the Next Room) and Halley Feiffer (I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard).

Taking place Sept. 28 at Symphony Space for one night only, the new works will explore family life, upholding the company's mission of "telling stories about family while helping families." The event is titled Tipping Points.

The complete line-up of playwrights also includes Brooke Berman, Kate Gersten, Paul Grellong, Kenneth Lin, Winter Miller, Nilaja Sun and Austin Winsberg, with direction by Carolyn Cantor.

The 90-minute event is presented in partnership with Litworld. Tickets cost $65 and can be purchased at SymphonySpace.
