Directed by Daniel Talbott, The Gin Baby will begin previews Jan. 19, 2014, prior to an official opening Jan. 20. The production will run through Feb. 2.
"No longer able to self-medicate with alcohol and in a desperate search for escape, a young woman finds herself standing on the edge of the 1 train subway platform," press notes state. "She faces the train as it roars into the station, and then faces the consequences as she commits herself to a psych ward in one last attempt to commit to herself."
The creative team includes John McDermott (scenic design), Tristan Raines (costume design), Kia Rogers (lighting design), Janie Bullard (sound design), Kaitlyn Pietras (video and projection design) and Jack Doulin, CSA (casting director).
