News Sarah Silverman Brings Jesus Is Magic Back to NYC at Zipper Theatre, May 13-24 Actress-writer-comedian Sarah Silverman returns to New York City with a limited engagement of Jesus Is Magic, May 13-24 at Manhattan's Zipper Theatre. The show last played at The Culture Project's 45 Bleecker space.

Clear Channel Entertainment joins the Culture Project in presenting Silverman, backed by the band The Silvermen, as she spouts off about her interfaith relationship, 9/11 and culminates the show with her own rendition of "You Are My Sunshine." The show, which also played at the Second City Studio Theatre in Hollywood, CA, drew reviews likening her work to that of comedian Lenny Bruce. As an actress, she has been featured in films such as "There's Something About Mary," "The Bachelor," "The Way of the Gun" and "Evolution." She has also appeared on television in "Saturday Night Live," "Mr. Show," "Greg the Bunny" and — in voice only — on Comedy Central's "Crank Yankers."

Tickets to Jesus Is Magic at the Zipper, 336 West 37th St., can be purchased by calling (212) 239-6200. For more information, visit www.45bleecker.com.
