On June 14 Block will be feted at Sardi's when her caricature is unveiled at the famed restaurant. Block's caricature will join the illustrious walls of this favorite Broadway eatery at 5:30 PM. Stephanie J. Block is currently starring in the new Broadway musical The Pirate Queen, which ends its run June 17. The singing actress created the role of Liza Minnelli in the Peter Allen biomusical The Boy From Oz. She portrayed Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked, earning a Helen Hayes Award for her performance. Block's regional credits include Funny Girl, Crazy for You (L.A. Ovation Award nomination), Oliver (Critics Award, Best Actress) and James Joyce's The Dead.

Block will next appear in the workshop of the new musical 9 to 5, based on the film of the same name.

Sardi's is located in New York City at 234 West 44th Street.
