Stephanie Wiand's new play Scenes Through the Bathroom Window will have its world premiere Jan. 27, 2000 at Eclectic Theatre Company in NoHo. Christine Deveraux is the director.Secret fantasies and mind wrenching truths come face to face with reality in this drama, which deals with ten women who find a safe place to confront personal issues and the universality of coming to terms with themselves. Director Devereaux visualizes the play "as a tapestry woven together piece by piece by a Greek chorus of one (gospel singer Jacquelyn Levy) which moves the audience from scene to scene."

Devereaux has worked extensively in L.A., New York and Miami theatre. Last year she directed Dear Mrs. Baker at the Eclectic Theatre Company, which is located at 5312 Laurel Canyon Blvd. For tickets and information call (818) 475-5105.
