News Schonfeld and Spanger to Perform Boston University Concert Dec. 11 Singer, songwriter and theatre composer Jeremy Schonfeld will perform an evening of his music at Boston University Dec. 11.

Schonfeld, who attended Boston's Berklee College of Music, is known for his soulful rock scores. Joining Schonfeld for the 8 PM concert will be Broadway singer-actress Amy Spanger. Students from "BU On Broadway" will also be part of the end-of-the-semester concert that will take place in the GSU Conference Auditorium.

A star-studded concert version of Schonfeld's Drift was recently presented in New York City under the direction of Lauren Kennedy. His album "37 Notebooks," also featuring a roster of Broadway veterans, was released last spring.

Spanger's Broadway credits include The Wedding Singer; Kiss Me, Kate; Urinetown; Chicago; and Sunset Boulevard as well as Off-Broadway's tick, tick...BOOM!. On screen she has appeared in "Reefer Madness" and "Six Feet Under."
