The world premiere of Heidi Schreck's Stray exits Seattle's New City Theater June 30. Schreck, a Printer's Devil company member, also directed the production, which opened June 6.
Stray deals with strays of the human kind. When two women are exiled from their hometown, they move to a foreign city where a family of refugees search them out. Schreck's other works include The Goose, Mister Universe and Backwards into China, all of which have been produced in some form at Printer's Devil.
Stray stars Alissa Ford, Tina Kunz, Kristen Palmer, John Paulsen and Tricia Rodley.
Production design is by Jessica Dodge with lighting by Lindsay Smith. Chris Cagnilia composed the score.
