Joining Huffman onstage for her annual Birthday Bash will be Angie Schworer, Emily McNamara and Bryce Ryness. David Brind will direct the 7 PM performance with musical direction by Roger Cohen. "Cady Huffman is about to tell it like it is," read production notes, "from her aspirations to be an operatic soprano — to making her Broadway debut as a drag queen. With songs ranging from Tinpan Alley to rock and roll — and composers from Townsend to Sondheim, Cady will give you what you want and a lot more than you expect!"
Cady Huffman received Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for her performance in The Producers. She has also appeared on Broadway in The Will Rogers Follies, Steel Pier, Big Deal, La Cage aux Folles and Dame Edna: The Royal Tour. Huffman has been seen on screen in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “One Life to Live,” "Sunday on the Rocks,” "Hero," "Space Marines," "Itty Bitty Titty Committee” and "Romance & Cigarettes."
Jim Caruso's Cast Party — the weekly open-mic evening featuring stars from the worlds of Broadway and cabaret — will follow the concert.
