Vocalist Scott Coulter, a MAC and Bistro Award-winner, returns to Don't Tell Mama on Feb. 4 with his show, "Unexpected Songs."

Vocalist Scott Coulter, a MAC and Bistro Award-winner, returns to Don't Tell Mama on Feb. 4 with his show, "Unexpected Songs."

Originally performed last fall, Coulter's show will be staged on Feb. 19 at 6 PM, as well as March 3 and March 10 at 9 PM.

Focuses on "life's ironies," the Coulter show comprises works by songwriters Stephen Schwartz, Peter Allen, David Shire, Cy Coleman, Ira Gasman, Victor Young, Ned Washington, Maury Yeston, Tom Andersen,Tim DiPasqua, Jason Robert Brown and John Bucchino. The musical director for "Unexpected Songs" is Bobby Peaco.

In theatre, Coulter was in the touring company of Forever Plaid, and the world premiere of the award-winning musical, Floyd Collins at the American Musical Theatre Festival in Philadelphia.
