Is FX's "Damages" surpassing "Law & Order" as the new must-have TV credit for stage stars? The series starring Tony Award winner Glenn Close just announced more theatre veterans to appear in its forthcoming third season.

Campbell Scott (The Atheist) and Martin Short (The Producers, Fame Becomes Me) will join returning stars Rose Byrne and Tate Donovan as series regulars. Lily Tomlin ( The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe) and Keith Carradine (The Will Rogers Follies, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) will appear as special guest stars among fellow stage names Darren Goldstein, Michael Gaston and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

The roster of theatre actors that have already logged time on the show include Tom Aldredge, Philip Bosco, Zeljko Ivanek (in an Emmy Award-winning turn), Noah Bean, William Hurt, Marcia Gay Harden, Maya Days, Debra Monk, Kathryn Meisle, Jeremy Shamos, Natalie Venetia Belcon and Kate Jennings Grant among others.

Production has already begun in New York on the upcoming third season. The 13-episode run will kick off in January. For more info, visit http://fxnetwork.com/damages.
