News Screen Version of Joe Hortua's Between Us Will Feature Julia Stiles and Taye Diggs Joe Hortua's 2004 Off-Broadway drama Between Us is being adapted into a film, with Julia Stiles, Taye Diggs, Melissa George and David Harbour attached to star, according to Deadline.com.

Dan Mirvish will direct the film that he his adapting for the screen along with Hortua. Manhattan Theatre Club produced the 2004 world premiere, which starred Daphne Rubin-Vega, Bradley White, David Harbour and Kate Jennings Grant.

The story centers on two men who have been friends since graduate school and who begin to drift apart as they find wives, have children and grow up.

Filming is set to begin in May. Hans Ritter, Barry Hennessey and Dana Altman produce alongside Mirvish and Hortua.

Hortua's plays include Burning and Making It. He also a part of the team behind the NBC series "Life."
