A half-hour before the December 7 live broadcast of NBC’s Hairspray Live!, cast members (and Promises, Promises co-stars) Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes will host a half-hour pre-show.

It was announced November 16 at the Hairspray Live! press junket that from 7:30-8 PM ET, Chenoweth and Hayes will take viewers and fans behind the scenes with clips on how the live musical event was put together leading up to the broadcast.

It was also announced that during the show, NBC will cut to live viewing parties in five cities, including Baltimore, Houston, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, and Philadelphia.
