Tony Award nominee Sean Hayes, who is also hosting the ceremony this year, sat down with recently to discuss the experience of making his Broadway debut in Promises, Promises and what he expects the night of the Tonys to be like.

Hayes also appeared in the recent Encores! summer revival of Damn Yankees. He won an Emmy for his work as Jack McFarland on the sitcom “Will and Grace”; other screen credits include “The Bucket List,” “Pieces of April,” “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton,” “Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss” and “Martin and Lewis.”

The Tony Awards will air June 13 at 8 PM ET on CBS.
