News Sean Hayes Lands Role in "Three Stooges" Remake Sean Hayes, a 2010 Tony nominee for his performance in Promises, Promises, will play Larry Fine in 20th Century Fox's upcoming remake of "Three Stooges," according to Variety.

The cast will also feature Will Sasso as Curly; the role of Moe Howard has yet to be filled.

The film, which will be divided into three 27-minute segments, will be written and directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly. A 2012 release is expected.

Hayes, who is best known for his Emmy-winning work on "Will & Grace," also hosted the 64th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards. He was also seen in City Center's production of Damn Yankees.
