News   Seasoned Cast Gathers for Benefit Reading of Orpheus, March 22 A cast of well-know New York actors will convene March 22 for a staged reading of Tennessee Williams' Orpheus Descending to benefit the Resonance Ensemble's 2003-2004 season.

The reading will take place at 55 Mercer Street at Broome Street, the space usually occupied by Manhattan Ensemble Theater. Resonance Ensemble hosts the event. Featured in Williams' play about a charismatic drifter and a love-starved immigrant wife of a small town merchant will be David Alan Basche (Snakebit), Sean Dugan (Valhalla), Jennifer Mudge (The Stendhal Syndrome), Kristine Nielsen (Betty’s Summer Vacation), Alysia Reiner ("Kissing Jessica Stein"), Jana Robbins (The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife), Gordon Stanley (Cabaret) and others.
