News Seattle's Jonathan Frank To Perform in NYC Cabaret, June 8 SEATTLE-- It's dream fulfillment time for Seattle cabaret/musical theatre performer Jonathan Frank, as he represents Seattle in the Mabel Mercer Foundation's A Swell Party during its opening "Newcomers Night" Monday June 8 at Manhattan's landmark Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street) at 6 PM.

SEATTLE-- It's dream fulfillment time for Seattle cabaret/musical theatre performer Jonathan Frank, as he represents Seattle in the Mabel Mercer Foundation's A Swell Party during its opening "Newcomers Night" Monday June 8 at Manhattan's landmark Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street) at 6 PM.

Frank will be accompanied by musical director/pianist Steven Applegate. others on the bill that evening include New York's Scott Coulter, Connie Playchl, Rohn Seykell, Lumiri Tubo and Playbill's own Andrew Gans, Montreal's George Evans, Pennsylvania's Vie Tabaac, Minneapolis' Connie Evingston, and Cleveland's Steven Paul Sterlekar.

Frank who performed in such recent Seattle cabaret shows as Setting New Standards and Reel Music will also be recording his first CD, an album of torch songs, cabaret songs, and romance classics, this summer in L.A.

The convention, which salutes Cole Porter on Tues. June 9 at 6 PM, and Gertrude Lawrence on Wed. June 10 at 6 PM has tickets available by mail order ($10-$35) to Alyce Finell, 301 East 79th Street,New York, NY 10021. Include either a check (made out to The Mabel Mercer Foundation) or an American Express card number,and a self-addressed stamped envelope (required).
