CHICAGO -- Half the fun of a revue from Second City, this city's comedy empire, is its title. The latest, Promise Keepers, Losers Weepers, displays classic cleverness. Directed by Jeff Richmond (who staged Whitney Houston, We Have A Problem), the revue opens Feb. 5 (postponed from the original Jan. 25) to spoof cigar smoking, rollerblading, "Melrose Place" (compressed into one scene), America's obsession with catchphrases and the religiously trendy, and features improvisation inspired by stories in the Chicago Sun-Times.
