News Second City's Site-Pacific New Show Added to Laguna Season The acclaimed sketch comedy and improv troupe The Second City will present the world premiere of Can You Be More Pacific as the fifth and final production of the 2009-10 season of the Laguna Playhouse in Laguna Beach, CA.

Performances will play March 16-April 11, 2010. The custom-crafted production for the Laguna Playhouse lampoons Laguna Beach and The OC — Orange County culture. Tickets are on sale now. "This show promises to deliver an avalanche of laughs that will highlight the most comedic and relevant elements of what it means to be behind the Orange Curtain," according to production notes. "Whether you're a life-long OC resident or a recent transplant, you'll see yourself, your neighbor or your favorite plastic surgeon highlighted on stage for a good ribbing. From real housewives to theme park mania, this California adventure is a wild comedy ride that doesn't require a toll road."

As previously announced, the new season also includes My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, conceived by David Grapes and Todd Olson, book by Todd Olson, directed by David Grapes; Moonlight and Magnolias by Ron Hutchinson, directed by Andrew Barnicle; Winter Wonderettes written and directed by Roger Bean; Hershey Felder as George Gershwin Alone, music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, book by Hershey Felder, directed by Joel Zwick.
