News Second Marriage? Off-Broadway Hit Tony n' Tina's Wedding May Return to NYC Though the poster in Shubert Alley has come down and the show closed May 18 following over 15 years of performances, Off-Broadway's long-running interactive comedy Tony n' Tina's Wedding may return, a production spokesperson told Playbill On-Line.

Citing "positive feedback" as its possible hero, the spokesperson stated there are rumblings about possibly bringing the show back. No dates were confirmed.

Tony n' Tina's Wedding, the popular production that includes the raucous Italian-American wedding of Anthony Nunzio and Tina Vitale followed by an even more raucous sit-down reception with meal, runs at St. Luke's Church (ceremony) and Vinnie Black's Coliseum at the Edison Hotel (reception) in downtown Manhattan.

Produced by Joe and Dan Corcoran, Tony n' Tina's Wedding was created by the improv comedy troupe Artificial Intelligence. After exchanging vows at St. John's Church in Greenwich Village for 10 years, Tony n' Tina's Wedding moved to St. Luke's and the Edison in August 1998.

T&T currently plays in 10 other cities and has played in over 120 total cities and countries, including Seattle, Baltimore, Kansas City, Australia, Germany and Britain in the past 15 years.
