"The Sing-Off," NBC's a capella vocal-competition series, has been renewed for a second season and will be holding open auditions in New York (May 22), Nashville (May 29), Chicago (May 31) and Los Angeles (June 5).

The New York auditions will take place at the Eisner & Lubin Auditorium at the Kimmel Center at New York University (60 Washington Square South). The Nashville auditions will be held at SIR Nashville, the Chicago auditions at Superior Street, and the Los Angeles auditions at Center Staging in Burbank. The lines for all auditions will start to form at 8 AM.

“The Sing-Off” debuted as a four-night presentation in December 2009. Originally hosted by pop star Nick Lachey, the show “features the country’s top a capella groups performing popular songs in a style that viewers have never heard before. The groups will be singing for America’s vote with the winner walking away with the ultimate prize – a Sony Music recording contract and $100,000.”

Auditioning groups must consist of four to 12 members, in any gender combination, and all vocalists must be 18 years or older. ID will be required at the audition.
